Denton County Red - Our 2017 vintage is primarily made of Cabernet Sauvignon grapes which were hand picked and individually de-stemmed.  The grapes were broken by hand to prevent crushing the seeds and then cold macerated for 48 hours to improve extraction flavor.  This was followed by fermentation.  The wine was aged for 90 days on moderately charred french oak.  DCR pairs nicely with pork, fish, and poultry.

We are pleased to announce that our 2017 DCR received a Bronze Medal this fall at the 2018 New Orleans International Wine Competition.
